So... you are under attack... EEEEKKKK... what to do?

Move your best attack hero into office as mayor

Your embassy should be a minimum level 4 and make sure the box is checked allowing troops to garrison there.

If you have people reinforcing your city for an incoming attack make sure you go to the rally spot and check to have gates open to fight otherwise having reinforcements does no good.

Move resources out and hide them send them on a long march to a team member and recall them after the attack hits or sell them on the market then 10 min before attack hits spend all the gold on the market.

If you are getting your ass pounded on a daily basis... you may wanna think about a change in location.... teleport elsewhere in the state.

If you have one city, the enemy can not steal your only city. If you are online you can comfort, use speech text and truce to prevent losing a city. Comforting and speech text must be used in the city being attacked. Use your speech text only if being hit repeatedly and wait until your city is about 10 loyalty... make them put all that work in and then boost your loyalty back up. They will know you are online and there is a good chance they will stop attacking at least for a while.
