What Troops & Defenses to Focus On

Best troops to invest in are archers and scouts, experienced players will have large forces of archers and scouts. Once they have these in mass numbers they will also be investing in mass cavalry.

By large forces we are talking 100's of thousands and sometimes millions especially with archers.

On Level 10 walls fully defended I recommend a mixture of traps, abatis and archers towers, with the emphasis on archers towers.

For example a good combination or a level 10 wall could be 1000 traps, 1500 abatis, and 17,000 archers towers. Everyone has a different mixture they like, find what you think works best for you. These are merely things that have worked for me here and on other servers.

Do not make the mistake of thinking fully defended walls are impenetrable. They serve more as a deterrent to your small to medium and medium-high attack forces. A player with enough archers will not be afraid to lose them to destroy your defenses if they have the troops to do it.
